A prayer from CLWR for the week of the Third Sunday in Advent:
O God of frost and snowstorm; as the snows of winter whirl around us we wonder when spring will come. We know that crocuses will nestle in the snowdrifts and that ice will melt. We know that justice will come like a mighty spring but we still wonder “how long, how long.” Enable us who are blind to see, us who are lame to walk, and us who are deaf to hear. Enable us who are dead to come to life. And may this begin as we gather in the midst of winter, in your name. Amen.
